FAQ

How do I book a shoot?

All bookings will be handled here through my site. No private messages, or emails, please.

Where are you based?

Mesa, Arizona.

What do I wear?

How do you want to look?
If in a group, opt for coordinating outfits, rather than matching. Avoid busy patterns and bright colors, for they can reflect on your face and negatively affect your natural skin tone. I recommend neutral color ways and steering clear of clothing with logos. Dress for the weather. Above all else, dress comfortable in clothing that makes you feel confident.

Where do we shoot?

Well, how do you want your photos to look?
Location is up to the client. However, I may decline to shoot in locations in which may be inappropriate or challenging to ensure a successful shoot. i.e. seasonal pumpkin patches, Christmas tree lots, fairgrounds/carnivals, or any heavily populated area. This is not only to be courteous of the general public, but to avoid a disappointing outcome from our time together.

Can we use props?

Absolutely. I love the use of props to make for more interesting photos. As long as you can provide and transport your gear, I'm all for it! With that being said, I do not allow the use of glitter, confetti, synthetic flower petals, etc. while shooting in the great outdoors. It is nearly impossible to clean up, and it is imperative that we work in a "leave no trace" manner.

Do you travel?

Absolutely! I’ll go pretty much anywhere.
Travel fees apply.

What are your travel fees?

I charge $0.50 per mile(round trip). If a location is more than a 3 hour commute (one way) hotel accommodations are required, at clients expense.

What is your turnaround time?

For a standard 1 hour photoshoot, you will receive your images two weeks from your shoot date.

How many images will I receive?

A minimum of 20 edited images will be delivered to you, via your own pin protected online gallery.

Why "Papaya" Photo?

When choosing a name for my business, I wanted to go for something memorable, and my name just isn't. My name is, Ryelle, but most people forget that instantly because it's an uncommon name. - When my son was born, I decided to keep the difficult name tradition alive, and he is named Urijah. Aka Urijah Papaya. I liked the idea of naming my business after my human, and Papaya Photo just has a nice ring to is. Much better than "Ryelle Rogers Photography" would have. So, that's how Papaya Photo was born.

I actually don't even like Papaya's. They taste like a gross(er) version of a cantaloupe, which is a trash melon.

Let's create together.
